Life coach branding

Dr. Supreet Kapoor is life coach and psychological counsellor and she wanted to set up her own brand where people would be able to contact her for any counselling or life coaching services. Her goal was to get well established online on social media, have a website where people could book appointments and make payments and also hold teletherapy sessions on zoom so anyone and everyone could receive her services. The brand had to showcase growth and nourishment so the clients would understand that they would be taken care of like a well watered fern. Ultimately the brand had to signify growth, nurturing, simplicity and happiness.

We held a lot of brainstorming sessions discussing multiple logo iterations and name ideas that would fit the idea of Dr. Supreet's mission statement. We finally stuck with the name Reveal to Heal and I came up with a beautiful array of colours that denoted happiness, growth and warmth. The logo I finally came up with depicted a pathway and the end of a pathway, a growing sapling denoting how you can reveal yourself to heal yourself by the end of it. The idea behind it simply felt poetic.

The brand elements were made to have a tropical vibe to it that went along with the colors so well and was supposed to ignite that feeling of happiness when people looked at it. We had to choose the colors so that when people saw these colors anywhere they would be able to relate it to reveal to heal. The fonts were also chosen to be professional but also have a handwriting touch to it so it felt natural.

I created a lot of mock ups to help Dr. Supreet visualize how the logo and the elements would place themselves on business cards, posters, etc. Finally I created a brand kit so any future designer could refer to it and stick to the brand identity guidelines.
