DAO

The project was to build a DAO frontend for Renewables.org so that members of the DAO can vote and invest in solar projects that have a certain ROI. Users joining our solar DAO had to buy an NFT to be recognized as members of the DAO. My part in this project was to:

1. Facilitate a fluid and simple user experience for investors that are new to the understanding of how a DAO functions

2. Create the NFT to gain membership into the DAO and

3. Come up with a simple dashboard where they can view their wallet address, their returns, the NFT and the members in the DAO.

I worked alongside the tech team and came up with a flow of the website after which I created the wireframes, a fun and interactive prototype which included illustrations explaining the working of a DAO from scratch and some really smooth and fluid animations.

I also learned Spline, which is a 3D tool where you can create beautiful looking interactive 3 Dimensional scenes and integrate them into websites with ease which takes a lot of load off development. I used Spline to come up with the solution of a 3D interactive potted plant that fit the green aesthetic of our DAO website, to be minted as the proof of ownership NFT. This potted plant would be displayed on the User Dashboard as well and the user can interact with it. I also mobile optimized the prototype for smaller screens.
